Can anyone tell me what's an Industrial City in the easiest way without using the word industry???

A city whose main business is the manufacture of products, that has a number of factories.

Example - South San Francisco - the Industrial City! (well, maybe not anymore).

A city who's prime function is manufacturing, rather than a multi-purpose city which includes commercial and residential areas.
