Only God knows that answer! I believe that life is a journey that we all go through. It's like we're going through some type of a test to seek perfection.

We, human beings come into life, grows up, and become part of a family, community, society and we interact with one of another. We, become, in a sense, someone with a definite identity, but deep inside of us, we know that we lack of something, we feel we are not fulfilling our inner quest of life. After all, we all ended up with the question: what on earth I am doing here? Who am I? Why we live and have to die?, Why deceases, why wars, etc, etc. That it is the beginning of self-exploration, that it is the initial quest for the real purpose of life. There must be many ways to explain the purpose of life, but at the end, there must be either, the same sense of isolation for most people. There is only one way to find and to understand the purpose of life: God. We know that we are not the result of some sort of evolution. I don't accept that from nothingness, became somethingness. The whole universe is full of intelligence. If something is being designed with such a precision and intelligence, then, must be a designer or a creator. When we accept that reality, we are a step closer to find our quest. Keep going and you will find that your life is meaningful, and have a purpose: To be atone with our creator.

Of course, your question requires God. Natural processes, e.g. evolution, by themselves do not provide any purpose. It would be like asking a river the purpose of water running downhill or asking a cloud the purpose of a raindrop. Purpose requires a plan and a plan for our life requires a Planner.
“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (mathematician, philosopher and Nobel laureate)
If we admit that God exists, then we can see that He must have put our intense need for purpose into our human nature to point us to seek Him. And so seeking our Creator is our purpose.
If we reject God, then we have no real purpose, but we need to at least have the feeling of having purpose even if we don't have the reality. So we invent "reasons for living", attach great importance to our invention and delude ourselves into the idea that our invention is what we "are really here for". It is an exercise in self deception.

Don't think there is any predestined, objective purpose of human life. And if there is, it doesn't seem to be a meaning that's humanly attainable. All we can really do is attempt to give our own lives some kind of meaning. Sure, you could always just commit suicide, but that's a bit of a cop-out. Same can be said for giving yourself to some kind of "higher power".
Go through the motions, and if a meaning comes to you, great. If not, oh well, you'll die soon enough.

To love, everyone has that purpose in life and very few know it.
You love God first with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind.
Then you love everyone else the same way you yourself want to be loved. Friend or foe, ally or enemy. You love them.
Now that doesn't mean you have to like them. Just be sure to love them, never wish harm to a soul, or try to deliver a petty, or a small vengeance to your worst enemy.
Always love.
Love God, then everybody else.
That's your purpose and it isn't easy. Quite simple really but man is it ever hard.
Now you know.
God's grace and love to you and take all of His love because in this world you will need it all in order to live for the purpose you were created to live by.

There is no purpose! We, like all other species, reproduce and have a cycle of life on this earth.
We were blessed with intelligence and we can and most of us do, find a personal purpose which makes our cycle of life worthwhile.

Acording to the ancient Vedas (the original "how to" books that came with the materil creation, by God) The purpose of human life is to realize our eternal self or constitutional positin beyond this material body and material world. For example We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only this mortal body dies. This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. We fell here due to envying Gods position. He made the material world for those who want to try to live separately from Him (Which is impossible because He is actually everywhere). After many lifetimes of trying to be happy in this temporary world one becomes frustrated and board and begins to question their existence. We then seek out real happiness, and when one becomes sincere God reveals how to come back Home. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) which begins with the chanting of the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from all suffering and illusion), which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can give up all material attachments and fully surrender to God and return to the eternal Kingdom, where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. For info. Go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gita- As it is by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada asitis.com can be read on line. Thanks for asking.

When you figure it out let me know. Adventure has been sucked out of life. You are born, you go straight to school, than more school, and then more school if you want to be able to support yourself in this corrupt system, try to stay healthy so you the government doesnt rob you blind from medical bills, try to find someone to tolerate your companionship, breed more life, work, work, work. Why did you have to ask such a depressing question.
