yea, we chose the biblical less common names. I like Asher because it is hebrew for happy, and asher was promised a blessed prosperous life.

No, it's not plain at all. It's beautiful and masculine at the same time.

I like that you have chosen two biblical names that are less common alternatives to ones like James, Thomas, and Matthew.

Congratulations!

Not plain, but the flow is off - Elijah ends with an "A" sound and Asher starts with one, making you pause in between. I'd consider a middle name starting with a consonant or using Asher as the first name and Elijah as the middle name. And I think Asher is a very nice choice.

I love it! It manages to be an interesting Biblical classic *and* a current and fresh name. And the rhythm of Elijah Asher Wold is quite well done.

Best wishes!

Asher throws it off....Elijah Wold is great, but Asher doesn't fit it.

I like Elijah Asher Wood

My only question is, is there a actor with that name Elijah Wood?

Isn't there an actor named Elijah Wood? That's really close to that name.

I don't think it is too plain, I think that Elijah has spunk and is a cute name, you could call him Eli.
