call animal control, because they can take it away.
And yes it will kill your cat and birds.
It won't eat the cat or bird food, it will eat the cat and bird.

What exactly is an Adler snake? I could find no reference anywhere to such a species or name. Most snakes are more in danger from cats, then cats are from them. Snakes will prey upon birds if they get the chance, but no snake species eats birdseed. Snakes are a beneficial part of nature and reduce the amounts of rodents in the environment. You should be glad you have one around.

You do realize that this snake on your property is free pest control, yes? Snakes serve an important function in the food chain. Killing it solves nothing; eventually, another snake will come to take it's place, if your property has good hunting. If you are worried about it killing your cat, bring your cat indoors. Cats shouldn't be left to wander outside anyway, that's a high risk of getting hit by a car, coming in contact with poison, catching a disease, or being attacked by a stupid human or wild animal.

It will NOT eat your cat, but it may eat birds, they are part of its natural prey. Snakes are part of the world as we know it and you may as well get used to it. Animal control is not going to come and remove an animal if it is not a threat to humans.
