Currently appealing the legality of large parts of the evidence against him, claiming improper search procedures. That has to be decided before the trial can start. It's a fine point, but at the moment he's claiming separation of powers.

His biggest worry is that if EVERY BIT of the evidence taken from his house is tossed, one of the really serious charges is STILL not affected. But right now, or at least before the holidays, which is the last I've heard, it doesn't look like he's going to get everything tossed.

At this point, I think it is a hurry-up-and-wait situation. I'm content to let the arguments run their course. A lot of the secondary players have already pled guilty, so they'll be SURE to cooperate just to keep from being the fall guys.
