I prefer Joel. Jayden is cute, but it's really trendy and might sound dated in a few years. Joel is classic and has been around for a while.
Is it your sister's baby? If it's her baby, then you should call him by the name she has chosen. When you have a baby of your own, wouldn't you want her to call your child by the name you picked?

Jayden is Britney Spears' youngest son's name. It's trendy but Joel is more masculine, a biblical name, not as fun to say as Jayden. Ask her to try Connor or something other than the J's...Seriously, you're gonna love your nephew no matter what he is named!

I prefer Joel...Jayden is WAY over used, plus I know 3 little girls named Jayden so I think of it as a little girl's name.

Why's it matter, he's already been named. Just suck it up. Plus, I like Joel. Jayden is one of those names that because of the "y" is trying to be trendy.
