Nobody can. You take out loans, which you will be well able to pay back when you are a physician. I don't know of anyone who pays for medical school themselves.

Where do you live? It matters a lot where you live.

UK? You get loans like anyone else. Pay it off when you have the money back - which as a Doctor you will certainly be able to pay back. Debts are the part of student life. Tip: Manchester University gives 5,000 pounds benefits to people with family earning less than 17,000 annually and you have all As at A level.

And Manchester is not the most expensive place to live as a student - it's like 15th in the country for being the cheapest at student accommodation at 62 pounds a week. That is cheap (relatively) - I live in a house in Manchester for 72 pounds ... A HOUSE!!!! THREE-BEDROOM. And a friend of mine is going to LSE living on Shaftsbury Ave paying 250 a week. Two bedroom flat??!!

Manchester is rated excellent in Medicine - Oxford, Cambridge don't even have that rating. I'm thinking at Grad Med, but Manchester doesn't do Grad. I've got friends who do Med in Manc. - they think it's good. Too bad that it doesn't do Grad. :(

I hope this helps!

If loans and financial aid don't do the trick, the military has various programs that will pay you to go to med school.
