Im confused with what I want to do with my life and I want 2008 to be a year to go after it...I know that I really really like music, and singing, and writing, and running, and cleaning...and a whole bunch of other stuff. I can excel at anything I set my mind to. I just dont know where to start and how to commit to it. Help!

First of all, be grateful that you do excel at so many things and you have plenty of options open. Not many people do. Now, you say you enjoy all these things. But if you truly think about it, on any given day, what do you most enjoy doing? What makes you feel like you belong? Think about that and you will have your answer.

I was the same way about 2 years ago. Then I started going to college and kind of narrowed my focus by the classes I liked until I found a major and a career goal.
Take some classes. Find something that not only fires up your mind, but that you feel passionate about and has some long range uses (like it may fee lgreat to run, but unless you are an Olympic fast runner, you can't really do it as a living). Sort out the things you would like to do for hobbies and the things you can see yourself doing day in and day out for a career.
Then, educate yourself. Take some classes at your community college and see if the things you are interested in meet up to expectations (I was surprised to find that teaching-a passion since I was a kid-didn't interest me near as much as psychology).
Good luck!

Start slowly , for example, Jan, of 2008 commit your self to sing a song, Next day, play an instrument, and then next day, do a creative writing, that comes to your mind. So on and so on. Or sign up for musical class at local community college.

The good news is you have plenty of time, you may make many changes before you settle in on something, I would start with the things I like to do the most and the things I am very good at. I wish you the best.

Your purpose is not found, it is created by you. If you find one it is someone else's and you will only be a follower. Try taking some skills and interests assessments to help decide which of your many interests you should prioritize.

Questions about life's purpose require God for only a Creator can give a reason for your existence.

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

It looks to me like you aren't speaking of real purpose. What you're speaking of is something to do that makes you feel good.
