I do whatever the best 'presentation' makes for the better
gift giving for each item. Usually I wrap with foil or decorative
paper if I have it. Other times I use alot of juvenile paper with
Santa Claus or something happy and cheerful. We all have a
little of the kid left in all of us. And the paper seems to be en-
joyed by the recipient.
If I have a few small gifts, I use a small bag, so they don't
get lost somewhere along the line in taking them to and from
in the car. If I were to do a theme, where I'd give bath items,
then I'd use the appropriate sized bag and colored tissue.
It's just more convenient sometimes to use a bag, than to
wrap each thing individually, which I have done so many
times.
So now I do the practical presentation every time.

Since people give gifts year round, it's an appropriate question at any time. I sometimes wrap the presents in boxes, other times I wrap them in colored tissue paper that is 'taped' at the top, and put them into festive bags. For a 'big holiday' with lots of gifts, like Christmas or Easter, you should do both for a 'better looking display' before time to open them. Use festive ribbons too, of course ...

It all depends on my mood at the time. I save all of the gift bags and use them again. If I can remember to buy tissue paper, that works just fine. This year I had a whole bunch of wrapping paper left over from last year. I bought a big bag of bows at a supermarket and that's what the kids tore apart in 2 seconds flat. I sometimes wonder why I bother going to any trouble at all-but I do. Dont know what I'll do when the grandkids stop selling the wrappings at their schools.

Not too early for next year!
Wrapping was a fun past time years ago when everyone did it to make he prettiest package.
The older I get, the more it seems as if life is too short to do everything the hard way.
Buy your gift bags and tissue NOW while you have after Christmas sales! This stuff even STORES better than the alternative!
Happy Shopping!

Since I only gift one person....I give it in the bag I brought it home it. Everyone is screaming about going green & conservation & recycling, so why don't they stop & think about the waste of wrapping paper, bows, & boxes? Newspaper & shredded paper makes a nice touch when you use it to stuff the bag or wrap the package in it. Rip it in strips, fold & viola!...you have instant ribbon-like decorations that are unique & one of a kind. Why buy what you can get for free in your own mailbox!
I have wrapped so many gifts over my life, that I just never want to see another, if you know what I mean! Now that I no long HAVE to do it... I don't.

I wrap some and put some in sack with tissue paper or other stuff. It depends upon the gift and where it is going.

It IS a bit late, lol. If the shape of the present is too irregular to wrap without looking messy, I usually put it in a bay and cover it with tissue paper. If it's a shape, such as a box, that will look neat with wrapping paper, I would prefer the paper.

Colored tissue and gift bag. I got tired of everyone complaining about having to destroy the wrapping to open the gift. This way the gift is easy to unwrap and everyone gets a gift bag to reuse. My friends and family like the idea and so do I.

No it isn't too late as you give gifts year around. I wrap mine in matching tissue paper that I put in the gift bag.

I wrap presents for close friends and children in the color Sunday comics. Not only is this practice economic, young people in particular seem to like this, since I'm the only one who wraps presents that way and they get a kick out it. Just save the comics all year, and thus, save your money for other things than wrapping paper.
