If the lease says the landlord pays for the heat and the ONLY heat is the electric heaters...then the landlord will pay. However, if the main heat source is gas and you are supplementing the gas heat with electric heaters...then you will most likely pay for the electric heaters. Electric heaters use a ton of electricity, so you aren't saving yourself any money by using them if you pay the electric. If the landlord is footing the bill for electric and you use electric heaters...he could raise your rent to cover the cost of the increased electric bill. I know I would .

If the domicile or apartment has a completely put in furnace that heats the domicile, then that's what the owner is obligated to pay for. while you're employing transportable electric powered plug-in warmers no longer presented by skill of the owner, then it rather is your duty. i could ask the owner precisely what procuring the warmth skill interior the lease settlement so which you already know.
