I have a stomach bug, I have an 8 week old daugher who I breastfeed, can I pass it to her through my milk?

By the time you have symptoms, she's already been exposed to the virus. The antibodies in your milk will help protect her, so keep nursing! If she does get sick, she's likely to have a milder case.

You have likely already passed it to her just being around her . Stomach viruses are contagious before full blown symptoms appear. You are breast feeding her so she is getting a strong immune system. Just continue on, if you can , and contact your doctor or your baby's doctor if you are concerned.
