I knew an ooooold man Zeke - it was short for Ezekiel. He was white, Jewish, an old-timey Brooklynite. He died in '01 when he was 92.

No.....I have a nephew named Isaiah (and he's white.) I can honestly say I've never known ANYONE with the name Ezekiel. It's definitely unique & "Z" would be a nice nick name!

Yes, but usually they end up being called Zeke as a nickname. My grandson is white and his name is Jacob Isaiah. Both names are from the bible. Biblical names are very popular now. I've even heard of a few Noahs. Ezekial was a prophet of God. Bless you. It's a good name!

Yes. It's a biblical name, so I think a lot of races use it.

My white cousin named her white son Ezekiel. They call him Zeke for short.

With what race do you most commonly associate it?

I don't know anyone who has that name, but it is lovely! It's a beautiful biblical name. Don't let anyone sway you from that name no matter the ethnic stereotype. I like the name Xavier and that's stereotypically African-American. I work with a black girl who has two little girls named Halie and Haiden...go figure!
