I think this sounds great, but will never happen. There are too many football teams in cold winter climates that the NFL would lose ticketing revenue if the season was pushed back. Places like Chicago, New England and Green Bay (just to name a few) would lose the out of town fans who travel to watch games. As much as I would love to travel to watch a game at Lambeau, I am not about to go watch a game in late February.

I am not, there is too much football already. I am not a football fan at all, I couldn't even tell you what offfense or defense is in football. And I can get into basketball, and hockey, or at least try to. But I can tell you that not every place in the USA is warm during the winter. Chicago is not, well but they have been known for getting warm weather in wintertime. And dont' forget the Superbowl, and then the Pro Bowl is a week later, and also that right about this time, basbeall teams open up camp, and gives mangers, even first year mangers with teams, to get a good idea of thier team for the season. But if you are bored to death in Febuary, and don't forget in March baseball teams open up the season thier pre-season with limited games being shown on TV/Radio. And if you are a football fan, there is Arena Football that gets started up in March, so you can watch that, until beginning of summer. And plus there are baseball and foobtall movies that you can watch. Thre are 3 good football movies to check out, they are Remember the Titans, Friday Night Lights, and now We are Marshall, and all these films are either High School or College football. The first 2 movies that I have mentioned are High School Football, and We Are Marshall is college football, but I must warn you that We Are Marshall starts off dramatic. As where in the beginning, Marshall University, loses most of of the players, coatch staff, fans, PTA, and others in a plane crash, and then they hire a head coach to take on the task, that nobody wants, and that is to rebuild the football program. And plus I should mention that all of these films are supposed to be based on true stories.

That would be great accept for the fact that the players would be dehydrated, and it would never happen also because there are many Baseball/football fans and some football fans might get tickets to watch the world series or the playoffs instead of going to watch a meanigless early seoson games. That would mean less money for NFL teams.

Great concept, but in the real world, the outdoor stadiums will be very uncomfortable in northern climates, and the players will suffer with the lousy conditions.

I'm in favor of abolishing both of them since they have become nothing more than stages for self-engrossed star-wannabees who set such horrible examples for our young people that they ought to be outlawed. They were very different when I was younger, but then, don't all "old folk" say that. God Bless you.
