Various stores have been getting them in stock pretty much on a DAILY basis. It's just that they fly off the shelves almost as soon as they come in. The trick is finding out what days the stores are expecting them and then being there to snag one. I picked up 5 Wii consoles at various stores over the past 2 months--the last one I picked up the Sunday morning before Christmas at Best Buy.

Here in Chicagoland, the best time to go a shopping for them is EARLY Sunday morning--as in 5 am to get on line. This is because all the store sales run from Sunday through Saturday, and they all advertise in flyers in the Sunday Chicago Tribune, which you can buy the saturday afternoon before at most convenience stores. Check all the store flyers and any that advertise the Wii Console will most likely get them in Sunday morning. Store employees have been passing out vouchers for the Wii console to everyone in line, 1 per customer shortly before the store opens, which has been at 8 am on Sunday mornings for the christmas season.

That's the best way I know to get one, and again, I've gotten 5 consoles over the past 2 months.

You can also go to Gamestop and buy a rain check which promises delivery of a console by the end of January 2008.

Nintendo's transport out around 200k Wiis a week. you will get them ultimately. in simple terms shop bugging shops like ideal purchase, EBGames, Walmart and Toys R Us. i've got self assurance EBGames(a minimum of in my section) would be advertising some the two day after today or quickly if no longer already.

Call every store close to you that sells wii's and see if they got a shipment. Call them everyday still the end of the week. You could also buy a Wii online

Many of the online stores have them in stock but the prices are still quite high, around $400.00. You can check the wii tracker sites below to see what the online prices are and when their in stock online
