If we had something like that and displayed it publicly we would get arrested! It is against the law in the UK to own something like a bear's claw and we'd have Animal Rights, Customs & Excise, RSPCA, all coming a-knocking as well as the Police.
If all of the above were not an issue we still wouldn't like anything like that. It used to be popular in the 60's to own a rabbit's foot and it was a symbol for good luck.....not very lucky for the rabbit tho.
We wouldn't disrespect you or anyone else who has got an animal claw or similar. It comes down to a personal choice and different countries and cultures have different laws surrounding these items. xx

As a talisman, absolutely. The have great power. I also have several items that were my mother-in-law's ... an alligator purse, complete with snout, teeth, feet and claws, a fox fur stole, also with head, feet, and tail, and a mink coat (no body parts attached - just the fur). I would never wear any of them in public, but they are interesting items from a time long past.

Sure, why not? - although hope your claw didn't have blood and gore attached!
Years ago I came home from work to find my youngest daughter curled up on the sofa and yelling "Go look what YOUR son did!"...on my dining room table was the tail of a squirrel..bloody stump and all, laying on a piece of newspaper where my son had placed it.
Turns out the squirrel got in through the unprotected chimney - came down into the fireplace and one of my three cats started chasing it - the squirrel tried to run back up the chimney from whence he came and the cat latched onto its tail with his teeth and yanked the tail right off!
Yep - my son tried to keep that mangy tail!
Did I let him? NOT!

Absolute power symbol. I don't think you can get a Grizzly claw now days, not PC. Try the swap meets or gun shows.

I have a coyote claws beaded into a necklace. Very primitive looking thing. I didn't kill the coyote myself tho, I bought them in Arizona.
It is still legal to sell animal parts in some states, each state varies so it is well to check before buying or selling anything like that. Some things it is only legal for Native Americans to possess.

Yes, my sons had bear claw necklaces made from claws of an Adirondack brown bear's claws. They were made by my sister who was an artist who knew a taxidermist.

Yes, it's a keepsake. I just bought my niece one. She'll be going into the Air Force . It's a symbol for protection, courage and strenth.

well , I did have a 'deer leg' rifle rack once. Everyone passed it down till it go to me...I tossed it, looking prettty ragged . Kept the rifle though, nice Browning Automatic Rifle(B.A.R) with a little 50X scope...and no I don't hunt with it ! I can't harm an innocent animal, too many people to get rid of first !
