i told my therapist i was gay in the closet, and she was like "well that's ok. i think we should all love each other. some men have relations with men, women with women, and men with animals."
and i thought about gagging when she said some people have relations with animals! LOL!

what's the most craziest thing YOUR therapist said?

When I was about 9 years old, I was referred to a psychologist by some people at my school. I don't recall anything strange he said, but I recall a really unorthodox therapeutic method he employed. That is, he had us fight with pugil sticks in his office. I guess he thought it would help me take out some unvented hostility. He also suggested to my mother that she enroll me in martial arts classes, so that I would gain self-esteem. She never did, though. Maybe that's why I'm such a screwed-up adult!LOL

Oh! I'll never forget this--"Go home and absorb your husband's rage--otherwise, he'll lose his job taking his rage out at work!" He probably was doing a paradox on me--but I was so depressed, I took him literally!!! LATER, much later, I decided that I didn't deserve his rage and left with my little daughter!! Maybe if I hadn't been so depressed before, his paradox would have worked. I think that the psychologist's timing was off!

Well, so far my psychologist has not said anything crazy, yet. But I did. He was asking me questions and I told him I would do anything he says, even jump off a bridge. That's how much I trust him. Not that he'll tell me to jump off a bridge though.
