Currently I own a GeForce 7600GS 512mb and I'm looking to stay with GeForce.

Ive got a Intel Pentium D 3.0Ghz Dual Core
4GB of Corsair TWIN2X 6400 DDR2
Windows XP SP2 2005 Media Center

What card according to my budget and PC spec would suit me best?

Best bang for your buck would be the 8800GT. It would be an awesome upgrade to your 7600GS.

8800GT is a 110 watter. Be sure to have a power supply with at least 26 amps on +12V rail or if dual rail, at least 15 amps on +12V1 rail.

Your current card will not even make it to the bottom of the charts.

You may have to overclock your processor some more so as not to bottleneck the fast 8800GT.
