well we did on christmas day , but on christmas eve at my childrens school crib service we did , not only for our lost loved ones , but i did it for you , country ,momof3 the chick, barb and all my contacts who have loved and lost , i was thinking of you all x

This is a great question - I've never seen it here before and its really made me think.
I have just lit a candle in my bedroom....it has a rose perfume and I want my room to smell beautiful so that I will have a long, peaceful sleep after i have worked hard on Yahoo Answers all day!!
I also light candles to remember people....and to set a relaxing mood....and at the dinner table.....but have to go now in case my romantic candle set the cat on fire!!!

I lit a scented candle a couple of hours ago to help get rid of the smell of cigarette smoke! Dirty habit I know, but it's my only vice, I don't drink ... maybe i will give up after the new year!
