I was at McDonalds and saw an elderly couple sitting at the table next to mine sharing a Happy Meal. The husband divided the hamburger in half, split the fries, then gave his wife half of the Diet Coke. At first I thought it was very sweet, then I realized they may be on a limited income due to Social Security. Being the Holiday Season, I offered to buy the wife a meal of her own.

They both thanked me with tears of appreciation in their eyes. They were truely touched. I felt a sense of warmth in my heart as well as a lump in my throat as the husband said "My wife and I have been married nearly 60 years. We've come to learn to share everything. You name it, we share it".

Holding back tears myself, I noticed the wife was not eating. In a cracked voice I asked "Ma'am? Do you mind if I ask why you are not eating?"

She replied "I'm waiting to use the teeth"......

So are you telling me you're stingy? lol That you gave (output) no gifts? Is that because you need someone to give a gift to? Where's the list?? I'll sign up!! I'd be happy to give you my rare Jimmy Carter Pez dispenser in return.

I'd have to say my output was about 4+ bags. I tend to be overly generous ... which isn't a bad thing at all ... except for my wallet. It tends to weep a bit when all is said and done. But the joy I get from giving WAY outweighs the depression I go into once I've realized I now have no money for groceries until the 1st.

lol

Peace to you...

Just one large garbage bag and not even that if we had burned the papers. A slim year at our house, too.

I keep telling my dear cousin that if he wants to have a more green conscience he needs to recycle....
So, you are taking my advice....
Now, tell the nice people how many bags of possum litter you have shredded!
The happy meal bag was just the leftover bows.....
Fess up!
Peace.
