I am now reading Snowflower and the Secret Fan. It's historical fiction about footbinding and other ancient Chinese customs. Just recently I finished The Kite Runner, and it was my very favorite book ever. I never thought I'd be interested in Afghanistan, but this is great fiction with historical background in it that really gives you insight into what it must have been like when the Taliban took over, and how it changed people's lives> it also was a great story about friendship and redemption. Excellent.

The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer
They are great. They include, Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse. There are amazing. The fourth one is coming out august 2008. There is also a movie coming out December 2008. Its so exciting!
