mostly to shorten the road to wrestlemania.Vince saw it as an oppertunity to hype the royal rumble more which is in it self a hype up of 'mania.its all a round thing to hype the next thing coming up

Having 2 ppvs in one month proved to be too difficult to achieve successfully after the December to Dismember fiasco from last year that cost Paul Heyman his job.
It also took away some of the focus & hype of the Royal Rumble, which is regarded as one of the Big 4 ~ The Rumble, W/mania. SummerSlam. Survivor Series.Vince reckoned that an important ppv like the Rumble deserved as much attention as possible & got rid of NY Revolution.

well if someone can only afford one ppv a month which one would you choose royal rumble or new years resolution. dropping 80 dollars a month a ppv's can get steep and i think not a lot a ppl were willing to do that so they had to drop one so which one do you drop new years resolution.

It's not important.
The PPV was unnecessary, and all it does is make building up Royal Rumble harder. The WWE already has a ridiculous amount of PPVs; they don't need any more.

NYR continuously appeared solid to me,side gained the call one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.Jeff Hardy beat Nitro in a metallic cage.Plus removal Chamber.the only undesirable element it had going grew to become into HHH's harm regrettably,so as that they canned it.yet DX VS RRKO grew to become into an astonishing journey,it in basic terms ended badly.

1 PPV A MONTH WAS ENOUGH. THEY HAVE TOO MANY PPV THE WAY IT IS SO THEY GOT RID OF IT TO CUT BACK ON THEM.

its because now all brands are on all ppvs they cant cope with to many. they decided to put all 3 brands in every ppv after december to dismembers poor raiting

they cancelled new years resolution and december to mismember because summerslam did way better than expected and made a lot of money of it and the ratings were insane so their you go...thats why armeggedon was tri-branded..its usually a smackdown event!
