luck is what you make it, I know a guy that won a million dollars and barely scrapes by and I know a guy that makes something out of nothing and enjoys life.
If I could get a winners position I wouldn't blame luck.

Sure - but there is something to be said for luck. I have none. I go to casino's and lose, choose the wrong lane at the grocery store, toll booth, everywhere. Some people are naturally lucky, others aren't.
However, luck isn't the only factor in success. So is hard work, reliability, confidence, honor, etc.
Sometimes we just gotta make our own luck.

yes,I think it's an excuse for a loser. a winner, other than gambling, don't need luck. they have the right stuff to be a winner.

Sometimes people use luck as an excuse when they lose at an activity ...... poor losers often claim this ...... and then there is luck that blesses some people when a chance activity is involved ....... like drawing a name out of a hat ..... there is no experience or expertise involved ...... its lady luck that shows her face ...... = )

Is it luck or is it fate? Is it fate or is it Karma? What ever it is, it happens for a reason. The hard part is to figure out why and what to do with it.
Is that too deep? I can always go deeper.

A loser would always take that perspective, I suppose. But in life there are so may different factors that enter into an outcome.

the saying goes: If he/she didn't have bad luck, they wouldn't have any luck at all. I have seen that happen so many times, I tend to believe it.
