i have a netgear wireless router that i use to connect to the internet with my laptop the router is hooked up to my desktop comp and is hooked up correctly i ve been using this setup for a year now and all of the sudden i went to use my laptop yesterday and there was no connection to any networks?? i called comcast and they told my to call netgear i tried that but cant talk to anyone but a stupid recording then it hangs up on me the right lights are on the router and you can access the internet through the desktop does anyone have any ideas as to why i cant access the internet with my laptop?

repair your wireless connection by right clicking on your wireless icon on lower right corner on your start menu,click repair and windows will repair your connection

reset modem and router by unplugging the power to them for a couple minutes then plug them back in after all the lites are lit restart laptop and try connecting
