I just set up my Wii to the internet,how do you get other mii to communicate with each other?

I think you go to wii message ,but it asks for a code.Do I need people to be my friend.If I do does anybody want to be my friend.What is it used for?

Yes you need other people so you can send your Mii to other people. First you have to get someone friend code and put it in your Wii. Then you have to pray they put your Wii code in theres. It is stupid, but it keep people protected.
