I enjoy story games, war games etc. but it doesnt have to be any of those genres

Get any next gen console if you haven't already, but other than that Guitar Hero III, God of War II, Rock Band, Need for Speed ProStreet, Tony Hawk: Proving Ground are all not bad games to pick up for your PlayStation 2.

guitar hero III is a great game, SSX is a snowboarding game and that series is really fun and entertaining, all of the madden games are also really good fun, quality games.
