I am the black sheep and loving.......

I'm the blackest sheep in my family, but I'm not really a black sheep. I mean, I've done a LOT of drugs for a 23 year old and I listen to metal, but I'm also an engineer who is about to graduate and already has a job. I still smoke marijuana; but I don't think I'm that bad at all. My parents don't really have many friends, they just go to work. So really, I guess, maybe I'm just a grey sheep with stark white sheep parents.

I am. I keep few friends, and they are at arms length. I find modern popular "culture" to be dull, trite, offensive and insulting. If I enjoy a thing and it finds mass appeal I immediately drop it. I raised my family alone and didn't chase after a man to rescue me. I do what ever the heck I feel, take care of myself and eschew humanity. I do not do anything because some one else does. I wear the clothes I want and feel no need to be marked because of my style, or lack of. My tattoos are my own art and not off the wall and are not noticable because I dont need to wear who I am like a badge. I believe what I want not what others tell me is truth, I live how I want and don't really pay attention to what others tell me I should be doing, my art is not created for the masses or anyone but me and if someone likes it good, if not, they don't get it. Sheep follow, I am a black sheep with out a flock or shepherd and am unafraid of the wolves in the brush.....

Yes, I am the black sheep of the family. Mainly because I choose not to follow everyone else's point of view. I have my own voice & perceptions on how things should be. I have always stood my ground & stood up for what was right & do not go along for the sake of belonging. I have always been the outsider. But that is all well & good.

The little angel turned into the black sheep because I believed in myself and dared to dream.

I am not remotely like the rest of my family. I am pagan, a single mom, and tattooed. I am an original thinker too. I am not one to conform to societies ideals either. I definately am a black sheep, and I am glad. I am way too interesting to be like everyone else.

I've always felt like the black sheep in life.

I often feel very misunderstood.
