Graphics card? question.?

I recently reinstalled the operating system on my laptop, and ever since i had about 20 secods after it boots up the screen flickers, and all the images load up slowly. After that though, it is fine. It's quite annoying, as i can't use my laptop until it has finished doing it. I THINK it is my graphics card. What can I do to stop it though?

After OS installation, you need to install all the drivers that came in the driver CD for your laptop to work properly. If CD driver is gone, download drivers from laptop maker's website.
