gopaokay...do you really think locking people up who you disagree with is the American way. I think you have answered my question about the kind of Fatherland you want.

All of you people who believe homeland security is nothing like nazi Germany need to do some research. Use to be that the FBI handled all domestic issues within the scope of the constitution and federal law and the CIA kept tabs on the rest of the world. So we had these 2 originations, why create a third orginisation?? Why does this one get to operate outside the constitution and federal law? Why can it "detain" American citizens indefinitely without representation? Latest very public example, the American who started kickass torrents was arrested in Poland by homeland security. This was not a terrorist site, it was a file sharing site for mostly music movies and software. Squarely in the FBI's wheel house but visit the website, seized by homeland security. Why? Because under homeland security he can be held indefinitely, can also be tried in "special" court proceedings that would be "classified" and the general public will not have access. Just the newest example...wake up!!!!

Why don't you ask a woman who became a widow on 9/11? Or a family left without their Mom?

Please. Don't even start. This sort of argument only fuels arguments about everyone being insanely partisan, and communist or fascist. Make an argument that makes sense before you make a conclusion like this, at least.
