Think about it. What would happen if one day, someone in line for the thrown adopts a child and later on dies. That adopted child would be next in line. Do you think the crown would allow it? A little Koren or African baby grows up to be the King or Queen of England. That would be pretty cool I think.

Interesting idea. I have never really thought about this or looked into it....but I would guess that if a member of the Royal Family were to adopt a baby, the baby would not be allowed to succeed to the throne. I think this is true for English aristocratic titles....but I am not sure about the Royal Family.

Interesting thought, though!

the respond on your first question is that there is not any such element (yet) interior the united kingdom as comparable-intercourse marriage, yet there is not any way a member of the Royal family contributors ought to be prevented from shifting into right into a 'civil partnership', it rather is what we at present have rather. they are unfastened human beings, you be responsive to - they have as plenty rights as all different British matters have! the answer to the 2nd is that royal and peerage titles are inherited *only* in the process the bloodline - it rather is no longer plenty that observed little ones are 'excluded', as that they are in a place to't be intruded into the succession. yet a surrogate toddler could cutting-edge an thrilling criminal situation. If it grow to be the genetic offspring of the royal member of the partnership, it may probably have a declare.

I think they're allowed to adopt a baby... but he/she wont be part of their family line when it comes to the title of King or Queen.

I don't live in England so I'm not sure what would happen but I wouldn't see why they couldn't adopt.

They'd need to be assessed by social services first to see if they were suitable.
