Las Vegas in Early January?

Question

I will be going to Vegas on the 2nd of January..

Whats the weather like there during that time?
Any special events being held?
Fun things to do or check out?
Best shopping places or sales?

Well it is winter here. Kind of cool at night and sunny during the day. A jacket is in order and no shorts and sandles. The sun will warm it up but if the wind is blowing .. you will feel the chill.

Don't know of any special events that time. Check out all the free attractions. So many .. especially if you haven't been here before. Shopping on the strip is expensive but you can save money in the Walgreens or CVS that are along the strip.

Go to www.vegas.com and you can find all the information you need for free attractions, shows, shopping, eating .. anything you need to know.

The evenings are actually very cold in Vegas. Expect a high of 58 degrees and a low of 39 degrees early January

Just dress warm. With that said, Vegas is always fun, hot or cold. You will not be bored. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.
