Been there and done that. It can be a lot of fun if you get on one of the premiere or better cruise lines. I've gone alone with the hubby and also taken the kids.
The entertainment is great, the food is bountiful, the drinks are strong and there is always something going on.
They are well worth the money. Where else could you take a vacation, see great shows, eat whenever and however you want, enjoy daily activities or do your own thing and just not be bothered and then stop at a wonderful port of call and have even more fun!!
Plus......duty free shopping!!!

Couldn't think of a worse way of having a holiday, stuck on a boat with old people who just want to eat and getting a limited amount of time to investigate places you stop at.

No way never....

i'd love to go on a cruise but my husband refuses, so the closest i'm ever going to get is being a vodka cruiser, i really like the cherry flavour.

There's only one way you'd get me on a boat - and that's under anaesthetic!

Not much, I get seasick. Having to sit on deck all night on a ferry was bad enough. Being stuck on a boat with a load of strangers for a longer period would be my idea of hell.

It would be great if you had heaps of money and unlimited time but you wouldn't want to be someone who gets sea sick!
