whenever someone calls or i call someone i lose connection to the internet. it's not supposed to do this. and it's the most annoying thing, especially when a solicitor is calling. it ruins xbox live.
i have a linksys router.
i dont know whats going on.

any ISP responsibility will end at the modem, and b4 you contact them take the router out of the equation and see if problem exists in a stand alone situation with pc and phone, I can see where you priorities are, forget solicitor worry about xbox? If stand alone situation problem resolved then its your problem beyond the modem. simple resolve go cable and take phone out of equation.

Do you have the Bellsouth filters on all phone jacks where telephones are plugged in?
