Little fact or memory: He'd chomp anyone who wasn't me that got near him.
Quirks?: He liked to take off (of course, the most he'd do was his bouncy, bumpy trot. He'd just trot away from the group, while I 'held on for dear life' HEY, I WAS ONLY FOUR, IT WAS SCARY)

Little fact or memory: I remember the first time I saw her. I loved her and I really did want her. When she was a year old they still had no idea what to name her and had been calling her baby red(her half sister was Baby Paint) and I said Sweetheart and the owner agreed, she was a sweetheart, but for him only from a distance. He started to neglect her, hitting her to make her move or go away, depriving her of food, when she was 2 he decided to put her up for sale due to money issues and I asked my dad if I can have her( by this time she only trusted me near her and I had halter trained her) and he said that I'll have to wait until next year I told him "NO! She'll be sold by then or dead!" I explained the whole thing to him and now here she is 5 years old and probably could lose a few pounds. She absolutely LOVES being around me and brightens up everytime she sees me.
Quirks?: Every now and then she refuses to ride the way I want her to a nd insists going the opposite way I ask or runs with me pulling her to stop, I end up having to turn her in a ircle and she's almost fallen over. Also she has a thing about other horses near her when it's feeding time because of being deprived of food.

Well, mine isn't mine anymore... I had a beautiful horse that my dad was keeping at his place until the EI had been lifted and I could get him up to NQ, but during the time he was there the previous owner decided that he didn't want the horse to go to a female owner! GRR so im back to where I started and it is hard to find a horse as good...

Little fact or memory: 3 yr old, finished racing career at 2.5 yrs (old did 2 races), he and I clicked straight away only had 6 months training by a friend of my dad's but he was the best horse I have ever ridden - he just wanted to please me, anything I asked for he did and did it well (didnt do it for my sister though that was funny!)
Quirks?: When he got excited and I asked for the canter he would tingle with energy and sorta bound into it (not like a buck or pigroot - he just couldn't get into the canter quick enough really excited but still controlled after the first stride). Beautiful smooth canter, always a perfect ride.
But now his owner has said if he cant find a male to buy him he is going to the dog food factory... :( but the really bad thing bout that was that his trainer said he didn't really get on with guys... it was hard work for the rider... poor horse :'(

Quirks?: She'd wait until we were walking along a cranberry bog and then she'd start BACKING UP towards the edge. I had to jump off -- I don't know if she'd really go over or not, but I didn't want to find out! I always, always got back on...

Little fact or memory: He is, was (he died a year ago) the best, most affectionate, most wonderful horse who ever lived.
Quirks?: None. He was a perfect trail horse, safe, spirited, well behaved, fun... He gave me 27 years of joy.

Little fact or memory: She's a real meanie mostly to other horses and some people as in shes the pony who is away from all the other horses at pony club because if she comes within metre of another horse, the ears go back and tail starts a swishing lol

but I remeber the time I was just leaning on her neck/shoulder thinking about whatever and she just wrapped her neck around me and we stood there for like a minute and it was just amazing. I felt like she really appriciated me and was giving me a hug-who knows?
Quirks?:Likes to take off.alot.at a gallop.XD she hates to be byherself but when shes with other horses she ignores them, atleast when im around.

Little fact or memory: She was the most beautiful little girl. One of the first times I saw her the old owner (and breeder) showed us her bow. I fell in love!
Quirks?: Due to my lack of knowledge and experience once she reached about 3 yrs old I couldn't work with her. It wasn't her fault, she just knew I didn't really know what I was doing! I miss her! =[

Little fact or memory: I've only had him for about two weeks now, so we really haven't shared to many memories. But, so far my favorite thing has been when I work with the longe whip and a plastic bag he is unsure of it at first and kind of hides his head behind me. =]
Quirks?: He has bitten me, tried to bit me twice, and tried to kick me. Eh, what can ya do? haha

Little fact or memory: He won so many ribbons and brought us and so many other people very far. I miss him very much.
Quirks?: This may not be a quirk but one very important thing I remember about him was he never bucked, reared, or bolted.
