I go out. Absolute need is absolute need.

The word 'absolutely' is debatable in this situation. Ask yourself, 'what happens if I don't do them'. Or just do the one that is vital. Usually if I get right down to it, very little actually MUST be done immediately. Unless you live in an area where it rains daily - then you better get going now and not procrastinate. Otherwise, just weigh out the risks of going out in the rain and risking a car accident, catching a cold, slipping on wet floors, etc. What can you do online or over the phone in the meantime. I say, stay dry and warm. Enjoy - it's the holiday!

If I have something that absolutely has to be done I just do it, But if it's something that can wait I I usually put them on hold. Like now it is dreary, cloudy, cold in low 40's. Have to mail some letters, go to the video store and get some groceries. Intended to go today, but can not bring myself to go outside, I would rather stay in where it's warm.
Supposed to clear up and be sunny tomorrow, so I will go then.
Morgan O, why do you keep asking for more thumbs down, do you have a death wish, or what!!!

If I could put them on hold, they wouldn't be in the "absolutely need to be done" category, now would they? I do them. I work full time so I don't get a lot of time for my errands.

Well there is really two things that need to be done here really soon. One of them is to work on my parents truck and the other is to finish clearing the limbs and branches out of the yard from the ice storm. Don't want to do either in the rain cause when I get wet I will get cold as well. So I guess as long as it is not freezing cold, I will go ahead and do the truck first as we need it to go to town with.

I never let a little rain stop me, but if it is pouring so hard I can't see to drive, I will put it off. If it is at night, and raining hard, I don't go anywhere because the glare of headlights on wet rainy streets blinds me and I can't see the road. Nothing is that important.

If I'm feeling ok and it's errands that need to be done, I'll go. Weather changes and pressure often cause me sinus or migraine headaches though, so then I'm not going anywhere.

I go out and do them. After all, it's just water! Besides, everyone here seems terrified of rain. They just don't go out in it. It makes it so much easier to get things done when everyone else is at home.

I used to live in Washington state so I learned to just move on as if it's not raining.
On the other hand, I've been known to stay home and eat chocolate chip cookies in front of a fire, while it's snowing outside.
