Our Government spends our tax money in many different ways. Unfortunately we have no direct influence on where our individual tax dollars are used. I cannot take blame for the war, nor can I take credit for humanitarian aid that also comes from our tax money.
Morality is real. I am a moral person.
You seem to live in a dark world. Stop being so cynical and see if you can make a positive difference in someones life.

No.
Saddam Hussein murdered about 300,000 of his own people. About 1.5 million people died in the war with Iran (where the U.S. backed Iraq because at the time they wanted to stop the expansion of the fundamentalist regime in Iran - which WAS the right thing to do at the time, BTW). The UNITED NATIONS approved the invasion because Saddam had been ignoring U.N. demands for years - it wasn't just the U.S. It is now understood in Iraq that although the Americans are what they are, the Americans are the ones that can be relied on - they do what they say they are going to do. The Iraqis do want us out of there, but not until stability is achieved. Getting rid of Saddam Hussein was the right thing to do, but lying about the reasons for doing so was wrong.
I didn't vote for George Bush, I always wondered about the justification for invading Iraq, and just because I might pay taxes to a government that doesn't do things I don't approve of does not make me an accessory to murder. Some of those taxes also go to pay for National Park maintenance, cancer research, highway construction, etc. And this is a WAR - there will be civilian casualties, unfortunately.
Middle East politics are extremely complicated. Simple answers aren't going to work there.

No...I pay taxes in order to fund plenty of things in this government that are good, and with those come the bad. It's not as though I endorse those murders, I can still speak out against the actions of a country that I live in, without disobeying the law.
Others might say you're a "STUPID LIBERAL!" though that's not my view. Unfortunately, you seem to be entirely pessimistic. Human beings are not necessarily inherently kind, but we can be moral, and honestly I don't see how it's immoral to fund a government, even if that government participates in terrible actions abroad.
Beyond taht, don't simply state something. Prove it. Why is it terrible that we're killing abroad? Why are our reasons for being there so bad? Why is funding a government that does these things inherently bad, even if we don't provide money for the reason of killing? Think on how you post sometimes.

If you pay anyone to commit murder you are an accessory to murder?
Why don't you go to Iraq and sort out the innocence civilians from the terrorist? The terrorist does not have a second thought about using an innocent civilian for a body shield. The Muslins extremists are murdering thousands of innocent people in Iraq every year in the name of +++l, if they are not stopped they will be killing millions of people in this country. Your government is not deliberately killing civilians in Iraq.

I know what you mean. This is a moral dilemma I've been pondering for some time. There are a lot of things I find very distressing about the direction this country is headed in. and by staying here, I help, and turn over money to help them continue doing the same thing. It's not something I've been able to justify or come to terms with. So, what to do? I've finally decided to work on immigrating to a country that is a better match for my beliefs and morals. If the government of this country is going to do such horrible things, I want no part in it.

Not sure. If I pay income tax to a system that supports illegals and career welfare cheats, am I aiding and abetting criminals? Glass houses, silly lib, glass houses. Whether or not you want to whine about it, you still have to pay. Since you have such strong feelings, stop paying.(If you can figure out a way.) See how long you last.

Not as much as your post makes you an accessory to murder by encouraging the terrorists who send suicide bombers to markets and schools.
BTW - your taxes pay for the people who are working to protect the Iraqi people.

The government does a gazillion things. It would be silly to assume any moral responsibility for them because you pay your dime in taxes each year.
You don't see republicans agonizing over their money being used to feed and clothe people...well I guess you do, but they don't have "moral" qualms about it, they just can't stand that poor people are getting handouts when the money could be used to kill more people in Iraq.

fact:
we, as americans, are SUBSIDIZING the secret and known illegal torture camps.
and yes, i do feel a moral responsibility for all the innocent lives that are taken with my hard earned dollars.
can i change it? i am voting for the only one that can. at least i can have a clear conscience.
