Nostradamus lived from 1503 to 1566.
The Middle Ages are usually set between the 4th and 15th centuries (but it will depend on your teacher).
Thus Nostradamus missed the Middle Ages by only a couple of years.

Nostradamus was not in the Middle Ages but was part of the Renaissance surge at its beginnings. Well there was Richard the Lionhearted, William of Normandy; Thomas Aquinas

Nostradamus is one of the more compelling individuals pertaining to prophecy and prediction to of ever lived. Many of his quatrains have actual relevance and are compellingly accurate. More than just throwing darts at a target he was right on with many of his prognostications. The ones dealing with 9-11 , September 11th 2001 were some of the more compelling in my book. I recall turning on the television just moments before the second plane hit the twin towers. When it did I shook with terror as I knew this was not random but also in that instant I recalled my books on Nostradamus and recalled actual quatrains I'd read about the "New City" and "Sky burning at 45 degrees", It prolonged my terror. I went and retrieved my copies and found those quatrains and re read them and sure enough it was startlingly accurate. Many others have made such predictions and prophecy about man kinds future and some are just as compelling as nostradamus. Edgar Cayce is one of my favorites. I am from Kentucky as was he and I have read several books on him as well. He has made predictions that have come to pass and has made precictions about man kinds future and spoke of "Earth Changes" and that "At the time of the pole shift , there will be a change in consciousness". Many of his health readings were amazingly accurate. He was able to go into a trance and see the body of the individual who needed a health reading. Even if they were hundreds of miles away. What we can take away from such individuals is that there is more to this world than we can put our fingers on. More than can be explained in reasonable terms and that some have gifts and abilities that set them aside from others, That there is some aspect of this reality that we cannot fully understand. Many , other individuals have made remarkable predictions and prophecy but Nostradamus has to be the Great Grand daddy of them all.
