My Ls400 '93 breaklight failed. Every lights seems to work OK including the rear night light, backing. The two bulbs on the trunks look OK.

Either the bulbs are bad or your brake light switch has gone bad.

The brake light switch is located up along the actual brake pedal. Follow the pedal up the brake shaft. (You may need to remove a plastic cover or two) Between the brake pedal and where it exits the fire wall is a switch that indicates when the brake pedal has been pressed down.

It's possible that this switch has gone bad if all your brake lights failed.

If even one of the brake lights work, then the bulbs are the most likely cause.

First of all, it's spelled brake. In 1993, many bulbs were the old filament type. The wires stretched between two points. Vibration in cars take those things out all the time. If that's not the case, the wiring harness could be loose or there's moisture in the connector. That'll blow out bulbs all the time. If no brake lights work at all, there's a switch connected to the brake pedal which closes the circuit making the brake lights come on. Look into that. After that, because it's a Lexus, it might be hard to find w/o a dealer looking at it. G'luck.
