Yes Christmas shopping was done by me (the mom, wife, etc) I tried to pay mostly in cash but that darn credit card kept leaping out of my pocket.

I used my debit card which is same as cash and bought stuff a little at a time since the beginning of November. Some toys appropriate or asked for by my kids and my nephews, I shopped online and store sales for the rest of my family and this was a good time because everyone was happy with what they received.
I used to wait til the last minute and then burned up my credit cards and paid forever on the charges. I hated how I felt so have worked really hard to buy less, shop for sales, buy ahead and use cash!

I used my debit card, which is the same as cash. I don't approve of going into the proverbial hole over buying gifts. I also don't approve of buying just for the sake of buying. I make a lot of my gifts, and I usually make things all year long with Christmas gifts in mind. I did buy some things however, but no one gift cost over $30 or so. All totaled I spent about $500 and that includes Christmas cards & postage, several kids toys, groceries for my baked goodie gifts and for the holiday meal for six. I do have 4 pretty good sized boxes that need to be mailed to various parts of globe, which will be another $50 or so, and that will happen with my next paycheck.

Cash and Credit. Toys for a 16, 13, 10, and 9 year old. Also a football jersey for the bf.

I hate 2 say it but both cash and credit , I didn't buy much though a flask and BIG coffee mug 4 my honey, mp4w/covers,puzzles,betty boop lunch box 4 my daughter,my sis sweat suit,her bf underamour gear,neice stuff for her computer BY BRATS of course with a Chris Brown t-shirt and poster, nephew underamour gear and my great nephew a toy that makes NOISE - his only 3 months but as he gets older the toys will get louder!!LOL would u lie me 2 adopt ur kids as neice's and nephews heheheheh!!!!!
