No, hun, I can't say that I have because we have a steam iron and it gets very darn hot! LOL, I have used a steamer like they have at the cleaners once before to get some wrinkles out of our clothes while we wearing them. But only one time! Steam can really get hot, too. There was too much b*tching and complaining while I did it. *chuckles her butt off remembering that little stunt!* ;)

I haven't found that putting badly wrinkled clothes in the dryer to be that effective in removing the wrinkles. If our clothes are a little wrinkled after I take them out of the dryer, I might put some things back in for about 20 minutes to get the wrinkles out. But if the wrinkles have been in the clothes for several days, I either rewash and dry them and then take them out immediately, or if it's cotton or a fabric that wrinkles easily, they normally get ironed. Not by me, of course. I have chronic back pain from an old injury, so I can normally only iron one or two items at a time before the old back starts nagging at me. The majority of our ironing gets done by our housekeeper. And there is quite a bit of it to be done.

There is absolutely no way I could stand or sit long enough to iron that many shirts, jeans, and whatever else needs to be ironed, so I always have someone else do the bulk of our ironing in order for our clothes to look nice. I've tried about everything I know and the doc said "get a maid!" So, that's what I did. And she irons things pretty good! o_o

Our older daughter is notorious for putting wrinkled scrubs she wears in the operating room in the dryer, always trying her best to get the wrinkles out and it just don't flipping work worth a tinker's damm. She usually winds up looking like she slept in her scrubs, even after putting them back in the dryer to try to remove as many wrinkles as possible. If she was a doctor instead of a nurse, then she could send all of her clothes to the cleaners. That would really be cool! Could you just imagine sending your underclothes or thongs to be dry cleaned or laundered? LMAO. No, me neither. :-)

Yes. More than once. Just for minor wrinkles, such as those casued by a seatbelt in a car. Never burned myself either.

no. but if I was really tired that morning I'd do it. Or just use a straight-iron. Yeah, definitely a straight-iron. Or just pick a new shirt i s'pose...

Yes, but rather unsuccessfully... unless you are using a straightening iron (usually for your hair) and you are just adjusting a hemline or something... man I am lazy!

Now I know why they have a warning on irons. I thought it was a ridiculous and stupid warning. Then again, some of the people on YA have restored my faith in how stupid people really are. Thanks again!
