Then he acts like he wants to make a happy family with me. But he tells his mom that if he doesn't get his papers, which I am going to pay for, for his residency, then he will get out and move back with her in his country. What would you think, if you were me? If you heard that wouldn't you feel so betrayed? have two babies with him .

He sounds like a real mama's boy.

By marrying you he said in public that he was going to stand by you. He has two children and a third on the way. His first loyalty should be to his family (his wife and kids) He owe's his mother respect and support if she needs it. But he owe's you his loyalty. Which means he should tell his mom to lighten the heck up.

She sounds like a real pain in the ***. I don't know what country your husband and mother-in-law are from. In some countries that sort of animosity is normal. But, it isn't here.

He needs to grow up and decide who he wants to be...a father and husband or a little boy.

Are you working? If, yes, you can use the Women's Lib philosophy but you will need your friends and collegues to stand by you. If not, how will you expect yourself to pay for the house of your husband's family house? Didn't you say that the house is still in the name of his mother? Then, if you are jobless wait patiently until she goes off to the other side of the world. Some won't believe this, but God loves those who are patient. Good luck and take care.

Did he marry you for love or citizenship only?!!! First of all, as a wife I am not going to let anyone in my family including my mother direspect my husband in any kind of way. Secondly, if he allows his mother to disrespect you in any kind of way he has no respect for you as a woman but most importantly as his wife. Sounds to me like you have some decisions to make honey because this life is way too short for drama and bullshit from someone who is supposed to be your other half...Good Luck..

Remind him that you are now his wife. If he isn't at your side defending you, then he isn't worth having. Get the papers for him because if he ups and runs afterwards then you will know it was money well spent!

He is mamas boy saying things to make her happy. You need to have him make a choice. you are her. Not that he cannot talk to her but needs to let her know he is married to you and he needs to talk to you about problems and not her.
