yes, i can't stand to see people drinking out in public, especially when my children are with me, i don't want them to think that this is acceptable or appropriate behavior. i try to teach them strong morals and values, luckily, i have 3 smart cookies, and they know that it's wrong and they understand why. and they have seen what alcohol and drugs can do to people, and it bothers them just as much as me, i just pray that it stays that way.

Well, in most places where I go I found that no consumption of alcohol is a given. Signs all over for it. But then again I only go to parks and such, not to sports events or concerts. Boy do I miss the concerts though. As long as the authorities control what is going on I guess it would be okay, but I feel there is a time and a place for everything. Drinking should be done at home or at your local pub.

Yes, i think drinking should be banned in public places. I am sick and tired of not being able to walk through the park without seeing people getting drunk and seeing beer cans littered all over the grass.

In my opinion if people want to have an alcoholic drink they should either go to a bar or club or drink in the privacy of their own home.

Yes I think it should, I was followed by a drunk tonight on my way home, he asked for money, I told him I was a police woman and he ran off, I only said it because I am 5' 9" tall, it did the trick and got rid of him , so yes ban drinking in public places.

out drinking should be banned, by this I mean drinking outside of restaurants and pubs, but not within the actual public place itself.

Remember Jesus drank wine, a little in moderation is not harmful;.

Absolutely - I think it looks common and dirty to see people drinking out of cans in the park or the street - Inside a pub or at home is fine.

It is banned in most cities now.
