i know they are the same people. But looking in itunes, I saw that some songs were labeled by Hannah Montana, and some Miley Cyrus.
I don't get it.

On her CD Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus it has 10 Hannah Montana songs and 10 meet Miley Cyrus songs. It is labeled under too different people because of the CD! Hope this helps

Her REAL name is Destiny Hope Cyrus.
Miley came up because when she was younger, she kept smiling.
Hannah Montana is the show name and her character name.
Miley on iTunes is same thing as Hannah Montana, but I have no clue why she has a different name. But I'm sure it has to do with her album.

Because in the CD:
"Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus"
it's supposed to be half of the CD of Hannah Montana songs and the other half is supposed to be the Miley Cyrus debut as a singer with her own songs, that has nothing to do HM.
A song that is labeled Miley Cyrus will never be played by Hannah Montana, they're separated.
Get it?

The Hannah Montana songs are ones that have been done on Disney for the show. The Miley Cyrus ones are ones that have not appeared on the show.
I think it is done that way because her CD's are two-packs. One CD is Hannah and the other is Miley.
I think this is a slick marketing trick to give her career legs when/if the Hannah Montana thing is over.

Maybe she switched to Hannah Montana after recording as Miley Cyrus.
But I think the general idea is that they're two different people. Because Miley Cyrus plays Hannah Montana in the show which probably means they're two different people.

Hannah Montana is her stage name, Miley Cyrus is her real name. Usually the songs with Hannah Montana as the artist is the songs she has sung on her show.

Her album was released with songs from the show performed by "Hannah Montana" and songs never before heard that were performed by the actress, Miley Cyrus. Basically, I think she just wants some credit as she is the one performing the music despite the fact that she's doing it in character.
