I am curious why so many men don't shop and if it's really due to the fact of wanting to be manly and let the women do it. And when you shop, why do you shop so basic, white t.shirt and khakis? Why not express yourself through your clothing?

In regards to the current answers...okay now what if you weren't shopping with women would you go shopping then? And why not take the time to look good? women like that!
And also, in regards to price...what if the prices are great would you shop for yourself then?

You are soooo wrong there. Im all man and I love LOVE to shop im a bargain hunter too. Like I found a lavender cashmere sweater for 25$ normal price 100$. A pair of shoes normal 120 for 20 I also like hittin up the thrift store to find things i can throw together. I have a nice collection of suits, shoes, and nice clothes but I can throw on some jeans and tshirt with my chucks now and then too

Because it is sooooo boring. Do this experiment: sit in front o a shoe store. You'll see most men get in there because the are following a woman. Because it is boring. Besides, most women are not looking for a man that has better clothing than them, so there is no incentive in doing so.

Woman don't shop for me! I do my own.. I rarely by trendy things.
I buy things of i need, Underwear,socks,Jeans (denim), shirts(t-shirts) and occasionally I buy dress clothes as needed!
Dress shirts take so long to pick out,same with slacks they need to have a certain look...I've had same ties for over four years,dress shoes are stiff and don't fit right,that's why i like Sport shoes (Merrel) fit nice...to have woman pick things out for me Say's I'm not independent and not a thinker!!

I shop by myself, I get jeans and black shirt most of the time...occasionally a hoodie...
i personally dont like wearing it but kids at my school like it better than the stuff i used to wear in elementary school

That's a very blanket statement which is simply not true. I know plenty of men (homosexuals, metrosexuals, and the regular ol' Joe) who shop for themselves.
Maybe they are expressing themselves through their clothing and it's just not your taste.

I do my own shopping. Food and clothes. I do express myself through clothing. I buy shirts of my favorite musicans, bands, beer, etc.

When we shop, we go into a store to get something.
We find it, look it over---if we like it we buy it.
None of that looking around for a hour or two.

Males prefer to shop for "bigger ticket" items ... electronics, automotive, gadgits, etc. That's how males brains are wired. Poofta males love to shop for clothes.

i go out with all of my friends to get new clothes. For us, cool clothes is how to get the girls better :)
