I adored "Enchanted", but I don't know that it'll hold her interest. It's great for adults and some older kids, but at three years old, I think it might be tough. A good mixture of animation and real action, but there are moments of talking involved between characters which might make her lose interest. The rest of it is pretty action-filled and comical (my boyfriend - in his 30s - was cracking up in parts).
While "The Water Horse" looks really good, I think it might also be geared toward older children. It seems like it would have a bit of talking as well, and some of the concepts might be lost on younger children.
I suppose you're left with "Alvin and the Chipmunks". I don't think I will see it because the director is the same guy who did the "Garfield" movie and that was an awful film.

3 is pretty young to be able to sit through an entire movie.
That said, I took my 6 year old to see enchanted for her birthday last week. She liked it but she got a little bored toward the end. It also does have some scarier parts that my own 3 year old would have been terrified at (but she's a bit of a weenie). The evil step mom queen turns into a dragon.
In the newspaper reviews for water horse, it said it would be to scary for little kids, so I wouldn't go with that one.
I don't really know much about Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Good luck.

I saw Enchanted and it was good... not amazing but good. Haven't seen Water Horse but it does look really cute. I'm dying to see Alvin and the Chipmunks so I would vote for that one!

Ok I'm 19 years old, and I went to see enchanted, and I loved it. It is so cute, and I think your three year old will love it. And I think you will think it is also pretty funny. If your 3 year old likes the little mermaid and all those princess movies then she'll love enchanted it's darling!

I took my girls ages 3&5 to Enchanted. They sat through it, but weren't mesmerized. It does have some scary scenes, the evil step-mother is evil and does turn into a fire breathing dragon. Haven't seen the other two.
