Hi yes you can use the contract sim in a pay as you go phone ! but the only thing is if your be using it to send pic msgs or even use the wap part of the phone then your need to change the settings in the phone hope this info helps

Yes, infact that's what I did...
I had an 18 month contract wanted a new phone so bought a Pay as you go phone and used the pay monthly sim in it....

yes you can, you will have to put you're sim pin number in if its activated on the new phone but other than that its plain sailing.
