This is after two bad relationships, so should you basically charge it , and move on, or is there still a possibility that he would one day want to maybe go back there with you...He's been sending mixed signals, but men are different than women, so i'm confused. he calls and everything, but I just dont know what he wants out of this, other than the obvious sex....

Anyone?

Believe what he says. If you want a relationship, why waste your time, move on.

Move on.

He wants the positive things he can get from you, but he's not going to commit in any way, shape, or form to you. If you're OK with a non-committed "relationship", then keep dating him, but don't expect *anything* from him, and don't be surprised if he just stops calling you altogether one day.

One thing I learned through the years, is everyone is "against" relationships when they're not really into the person they're with. (See cheescakeluvr's answer. She hit the nail on the head.) A man can tell you he's "against relationships", and then a week later get engaged to some woman he meets at a party or something. I've seen it happen.

Go find someone who isn't "against" relationships, and is into YOU. There are wonderful men out there who won't string you along.

If a man says he is against relationships right now, it means he doesn't want a relationship with YOU. Men are typically subtle in the way they say things. He wants whatever you are willing to give but is not willing to give of himself. Typical jackass

you already answered your own question - of course he wants the sex and to keep you hanging around, he uses the very tired line of not wanting to be in a relationship right now. what a loser. dump him before he gets the chance to hurt you even more.

He's not ready to settle down. I would find another relationship where this is a possibility if that is what you want in your life.
