Hey peoples,
I need help. I'm new to the whole "snowboarding thing", so I was wondering if you guys knew of any good board brands. I don't need anything fancy... I just need something reliable. Help is much appreciated.

Rome, Ride, Gnu, Forum, Lib Tech, Burton, K2, Nitro, Palmer, Atomic, Option, Capita, Apo, Signal, Battaleon, Sapient, Salomon, Rossignol, Nidecker, O-matic, Arbor. All these brands make great boards but make sure you get a board that suits your type of riding, and your level of riding and is the right size for you, Good luck.

Of the two you mentioned, when it comes to a board, I would definitely go with Option. They make some of the best decks around. TechNine is good, but mainly for their bindings. It's funny you mention these two brands. One of my decks is an Option Supercharger 168 that I LOVE. My other is a Forum Team 160, but I mounted Technine bindings on both of them.

This really depends on what kind of riding you want to do.
Freestyle: Forum, Rome, Gnu, Lib Tech, K2
Freeride: Ride, K2, Burton

element doesnt make a snowboard.
some good brands are k2, burton, rome, fourm

check out lib tech boards they have magna traction and might just make alll other board obsolete

i have always bought K2 boards & i love them. same w/the bindings & boots!

I think element makes snowboards, or maybe it is just skateboards
