you can also cheat emotionally on them. Both are detrimental to the relationship and both break the others trust. Curious as to which one you would think is more disasterous?

Emotional! You can have a physical relationship that means nothing more than sex or pleasure and your spouse will have a chance to move past it because they are positive you love them and only them. However if it is emotional then you have no business being with your spouse at all! Love is gone when you cheat emotionally!

Both are bad but being with someone emotionally is worst. A person can and will get over a one night stand or a "cut" buddy. Dealing with someone and getting emotionally involve can cause serious problems. You can fall in love with someone that you are dealing with emotionally and love can make you leave the person you're married to.

sex could be a one time thing, where emotionally cheating could go on and on and on. i would think that would be more disasterous.

i dont know, cheating is cheating is cheating. however its done. very painful to the innocent party.

I'd rather find out my husband f***** some girl, than hear that he fell in love with another woman, and that's the truth.

That's just my opinion, though. I think it depends on your relationship. My husband and I have a great sex life, so I can't imagine him going elsewhere for it. While he does love me, I can imagine him becoming attracted in an emotional manor, to another woman.

(After all of that, keep in mind, I trust my husband to my dying breath).

Like I said, it depends on your relationship, maybe other people are differen't

Cheers

they both usually happen simotainously. It starts in the emotional state ( spouse usually forgives this one ) Then to the physical state.

hmmm, health wise, physical sex, aids, hpv, herpes, crabs, etc...

yet, emotionally, one can still have a heart attack if they find out, or even develop stress and/or high blood pressure...hmmm

to me, both are equally harmful... yet, when you are being physical w/ someone, you are also being emotional at the same time... whether anyone wants to admit it or not, that's another story...

Either or. Your spouse is supposed to be your lover and your best friend. If you can't give him/her those things excursively, what's the point of being married?
