Love is not about sweaty palms, racing hearts, and quivering knees. This is more. This is total comfort in another human being. This is communication without language. This is a feeling of complete awe for another person's existence. Every day is the most exciting. Every meal is the most delicious. Every breath is the most refreshing.

In love, you catch yourself smiling as you look at someone whose hand you clasp tightly. You need to kiss him on the cheek when he realizes you're thinking about how much you love him.

It's as if once you've felt this feeling, this amazing completion of your being, you'll do anything to get it back.

Love is a force. It's powerful, overwhelming, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. When in it, you think of nothing but the sheer magnificence of every waking second. However, when it's gone, it leaves you feeling empty. Bare. It's as if love is your core, the only thing that makes you complete. You're left with but skin and bones, an empty shell of what you once were. Hollow.

That is love.

Love is when two people care deeply for eachother...They'll always be there for one another, and would never love anyone else or be unfaithful. They'll love you for who you are on the inside, not of what you look like on the outside.
True love is when someone would want to spend the rest of their life with you, and ONLY you, and nothing would ever come in between that.

Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up,  does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury.  It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth.  It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

 Love never fails.

Simply put, Love is the souls' recognition of its counterpoint in another. A little cheesy but it seems to make the most sense... Your heart or your mind don't seem to choose who who they love, so I think all that leaves is the soul. You can't choose who you love... Your soul does it for you! It is like the soul seems to already know who it is capable of loving and when and then it kind of... Takes over for you.

Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It is not proud. It is not rude. It is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrong doing. It does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres."

Love is the feeling the yearning to be with an actual person. It goes beyond their looks, but to conversations and much much more. Love is real.

Baby don't hurt me. Don't hurt me...no more...

Just kidding

Love is an evolutionary response to facilitate the propagation of our genetic material. People tend to desire qualities in the opposite sex that indicate virility, fertility, strength, health, and the ability to provide. Our brains have evolved over time to recognise their attributes and view them as desirable. The intense attraction one feels to another is an evolutionary response to ensure that you settle down, reproduce, and ensure your offspring reach maturity so that your genes will continue on.

Love is the deep abiding emotion I feel when I look into my husbands eyes or my little girls face. The knowledge that I will do anything for either of them.
