Do you think it's weird for a non-punky/non-hard rockish girl to play guitar? I think people see me more as a piano girl....

No, you could be like jewel, or do some folky stuff where you wear flowery dresses all of the time and fall in love w/ someone who breaks your heart, eventually leading you into a downward spiral of drugs and sex. Then you'd probably turn into a punker and get stuff peirced cuz you just want to feel again.

It's not the instrument you play that defines you. Non punkish hard rock women have played the guitar. Play the instrument that you like best and are drawn to.

you can play anything you want without even getting to look like anything.
you dont need to care about anyone whatso ever.
You can play guitar and still look like a piano girl if thats what you want :)

guitar isn't only for a particular style of people.. guitars are used for all types of music so play it if you want to.
